The Squirrels entertained our Polish & Swedish Guests.

Once again this morning two of The Beeches resident baby red squirrels took centre stage, playing their high speed version of 'catch me if you can' ~ round & round the trunks of the mature larch trees. Our house guests from Poland & Switzerland were enthralled, including one year old Jakob who, for more than 10 minutes, stood stock still with his parents knelt beside him ~ all mesmerised by the performance. www.thebeechesnewtonmore.com.

The delight of nature & a visit from baby Squirrels.

Another stunning day here at The Beeches, Newtonmore. Sun-rays shaft through our majestic, mixture of mature trees, creating dabbled patterns of light on the lush lawn and surrounding flower-filled garden. The baby red squirrels revel in the sunshine ~ their excited squeaking & claws scratching on the bark making their presence known as they play their athletic version of helter-skelter on the larch trunks.
