Swiss Sunshine

Legs tired following miles of terrific skiing - thus, lunchtime today spent dozing on deckchairs - surrounded by snow - bathed beautifully by the warm Swiss sunshine.

Hopefully to be beautifully bathed by Scottish sunshine next week whilst back in my canoes on the wonderful River Spey, this time with group of adventurous whisky writers. Will be great whatever the weather!

The Milk Bar in Verbier, South Western, Switzerland

On Wednesday enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate on the terrace of the Milk Bar, Verbier @ 22° - almost as warm as Aboyne, Deeside @ 23.6°on Tues.

Mont Fort in the Alps - See the view.

Yesterday was another stunning day in the Alps.  The highest point on the Verbier ski area - Mont Fort 3300 metres - from where we were able to view, very clearly Mont Blanc & the Matterhorn.  Clarity was amazing.

Beautiful day in Verbier too. Difference is there is lots of lovely snow in the Alps.
