The National Wallace Monument.

Last Saturday we visited the outstanding Wallace Monument standing proud on the outskirts of Stirling.

Magnificent piece of Scottish history ~ an impressive tower with great interpretation facilities and superb views from the top ~ well worth climbing the 246 steps!

Built in honour of William Wallace, this excellent facility provides a chance for 'Braveheart' fans to know more of the the truth about this 6'6" Scottish legend. http://www.nationalwallacemonument.com/
