10 Happy Paddlers completed their 4-Day Journey on River Spey.

Happy group of 10 paddlers arrived at Moray Firth this afternoon after 4 great days journeying on River Spey.  All already talking of doing it again next year.

Camping at Ballindalloch Railway Station.

Camped Friday night at the once prosperous (closed in 60's by Beeching cuts) Ballindalloch Railway Station where today a tree is to be planted in memory of Peter Mitchell Ballindalloch's last Station Master.

The latest 4 Day Spey Journey on the River Spey, Newtonmore, Strathspey.

First day of another 4 day Spey Journey with a lovely group organised by Willie Gibson.  For Willie & his friend Nick MacDonald this is their 11th descent with me.

Yesterday was a wonderful day on an upper section of the lovely Spey above Newtonmore, with doctors and support staff from local GP's practice. Blue skies and warm sunshine ~ so warm some said capsize was a bonus!!

Girlie Gathering at The Beeches in Newtonmore, Scotland

Fun & Enhanced Learning First Aid Course with Dave Craig.

Delivering another 2-day first aid course for 12 clients involved in outdoor pursuits including ~ ski instructors and ski area staff, windsurfing coach and mountaineering . Lovely, sunny afternoon out in The Beeches garden ~ students thoroughly enjoyed and felt they benefited from the realistic, hands-on outdoor scenarios, designed to enhance learning and aid memory retention ~ and it's fun!!

Search for the Newtonmore Wildcats by our Chinese family residents.

River Spey rising steadily with heavy rain presently falling in her Strath. However, undaunted lovely Chinese family staying with us at The Beeches, have gone out in search of the Newtonmore Wildcats ~ 110 brightly painted, life-size 'wildcats' placed around the village ~ the hunt proving to be a challenge and joy for 'children' of all ages."
